Winner of International Competitions

Biography

Graduate of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory named after N.A. Rimsky-Korsakov 2019 (class of professor, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation A.I. Dmitriev) and currently an assistant-trainee since 2023, member of the accordion trio Symmetry, soloist of the Orchestra. P.I. Smirnova, teacher of additional education at the Palace of Students of St. Petersburg, guest artist of the State Russian Concert Orchestra.

During his creative career he became a laureate of many competitions. Of these, several of the most prestigious can be identified:
• 66th Trophée Mondial - 2nd prize (Portimao, Portugal, 2016),
• Naujene 2017 - Grand Prix (Daugavpils, Latvia, 2017),
• 42nd PIF Castelfidardo - 1st prize (Castelfidardo, Italy, 2017),
• 70th «Coupe Mondiale» - 1st Prize (Osimo, Italy, 2017),
• XIII International Competition of Performers on Folk Instruments “Petro-Pavlovsky Assemblies 2023” - 1st prize (St. Petersburg, Russia, 2023),
• XXI International Competition of Folk Instrument Performers “Cup of the North” named after A.L. Repnikova - 1st prize. 

Since 2015, he has been a member of the accordion trio “Symmetry”. The ensemble has won a number of victories at prestigious international competitions: «Coupe Mondiale» 2017 (Italy), 42nd PIF Castelfidardo 2017 (Italy), «Trophy Mondiale» 2020 (online), 58 International Akkordeonwettbewerb Klingenthal 2021 (Germany, online). In 2023, the trio released the album “Petri Makkonen” on major digital platforms.

In 2015, Arkady began his teaching career at Children's Music School No. 11. Since 2019, additional education teacher at the Palace of Students. Students became winners, laureates and diploma recipients of many city and international competitions.

Since 2019, he has been a frequent guest of the City Educational and Methodological Association of Conductors and Teachers of the Bayan and Accordion Class, where he has successfully conducted master classes several times and given lectures on current topics.

Since 2020 he has been a soloist of the Orchestra. P.I. Smirnova. The conductor's debut took place in 2021.

In August 2021, he took part in the international artistic and scientific conference "Culture - the connection between Serbia and the world", where he read a report and conducted master classes (Zemun, Belgrade, Serbia).

In November 2022, he took part in the open city scientific and practical conference “Smirnov Readings - 2022” as a speaker.
