Italian organist and conductor. Born in Ravenna, she studied under the guidance of Daniel Chorzempa at the Musik Akademie of Basel and the Hochschule Mozarteum of Salzburg, and with Helmut Rilling at the Bach Akademie of Stuttgart.

Elena Sartori teaches Organ and Choir at the Conservatorio Claudio Monteverdi in Bolzano (Free University Bozen).

Having been Chorus Maestro for performances conducted by Maestros Janos Furst, Dennis Russell Davies, Riccardo Muti and having worked with directors like Graham Vick and Denis Krief, after an intensive activity as soloist at the organ, Elena Sartori debuted as a conductor in 2004.
