Aare-Paul Lattik

Biography
Aare-Paul Lattik was born in 1970 in Tallinn (Estonia), studied organ and piano in Tartu H. Eller Music School and philosophy in Tartu University (1988-1992). In 1992-1996 he continued his organ studies at the Estonian Academy of Music with prof. Hugo Lepnurm and later with Andres Uibo. After graduating the academy, he continued his studies in France with the organist Saint-Gervais church, Aude Heurtematte in Paris and in Lyon with professor Louis Robilliard, studying simultaneously at the faculty of musicology in Sorbonne University in Paris, which he graduated in 1999 with Master of Music degree. Aare-Paul Lattik has participated in several masterclasses of Jean Boyer, Olivier Latry, Leo Kraemer, Hans Gebhart, etc.. He has taken part in organ festivals in Estonia as well as all around Europe (Spain, Italy, France, Portugal, Poland, Germany, etc.), given concerts in Scandinavian countries and Russia. A.-P. Lattik has recorded several CDs - for Eres edition in Germany (French and Estonian organ music) and recently recorded complete organ compositions of Arvo Paert for Arion Edition in France. He is an organist of St. Michael's Swedish church in Tallinn and since 2000 also the President of the Estonian Society of Organists.
