Mlada Khudoley

Biography
Mlada Khudoley was born in Moscow. Soloist with the Mariinsky Opera since 1998.
Known for her work with Valery Gergiev, Mlada Khudoley was born and raised in Moscow and now lives permanently in the US. Her roles include those of Berlioz (Cassandra Les Troyens), Bellini (title role Norma), Puccini (title role Turandot and Manon Lescaut), Strauss (title role Ariadne auf Naxos and Salome), Verdi (title role Aida, Leonora Il Trovatore, Lady Macbeth Macbeth, Abigaille Nabucco), as well as Wagner (Sieglinde Die Walküre, Gutrune Gotterdammerung, Senta Der Fliegende Hollander, Elisabeth Tannhäuser).
Miss Khudoley has appeared with the Mariinsky Theatre at the Metropolitan Opera of New York, BBC Proms, Barbican Centre London, Carnegie Hall and at Edinburgh Festival, at Dutch National Opera and at Teatro Regio di Torino among others. She appeared as Lisa Pique Dame at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Abigaille at Oper Stuttgart, at Polish National Opera, at Royal Danish Opera, Los Angeles Opera, Washington DC Opera, Minnesota Opera, Vancouver Opera and with Tampere Philharmonic in Finland. She appeared as Sieglinde with Bryn Terfel under the baton of Valery Gergiev at the Wales Millennium Center, and made her debut as The Kaiserin Die Frau ohne Schatten with the same conductor at the Mariinsky Theatre.
Ms. Khudoley counts as her stage partners, Placido Domingo, Bernd Wielki, Matti Salminen, Riccardo Massi, Stephan Gould, Yevgeny Niktin, Mikhail Petrenko, Anna Netrebko, Wolfgang Brendel and many other renowned artists.
Ms. Khudoley regularly collaborates with Maestro Valery Gergiev and has worked with Kent Nagano, Paolo Carignani, Seigi Ozawa, Symon Bychkov, Michael Güttler, and many others. Ms. Khudoley has appeared as Sieglinde to Placido Domingo’s Siegmund in “Die Walküre” on four separate occasions, including Maestro Domingo’s only performance ever at Teatr Wielki, Warsaw, Poland.
Her performances in the title role Turandot that opened Bregenz Festival during the summer of 2015 and 2016 won her excellent reviews. The DVD from this production is for sale at Amazon.com. She sang the title role Norma at Florida Grand Opera in January 2016. Recent contracts include Abigaille Nabucco with Oper Leipzig, Turandot with Oper Köln and performances of Cassandre Les Troyens, Aida Aida, and Senta Flying Dutchman on the White Nights Festival with the Mariinsky Theatre. Future performances include a return to Oper Leipzig as Abigaille Nabucco.
Ms. Khudoley graduated from Moscow Conservatory Musical College with a degree in choral conducting and solfeggio teacher. She also has a Master’s Degree from the Moscow University of Performing Arts Musical faculty as music theatre and opera singer. Mlada and her family live in Minnetonka, Minnesota.
