Biography

Born in Venice, he completed his musical studies of violin and composition in his city, graduating with top marks and honors. After specializing in the major international academies (Hochschule in Vienna, Accademia Chigiana in Siena, Scuola di Musica in Fiesole), he soon embarked on a brilliant concert career that led him to perform in the most prestigious concert halls and for the major international festivals including Musikverein in Vienna, Lincoln Center in New York, Sydney Opera House, Philarmonie in Berlin, Salzburg Festival, Mostly Mozart Festival, etc.).

Since his debut in 2012 at the Teatro Comunale Claudio Abbado in Ferrara with Rigoletto, his career has led him to perform both in the opera and symphonic fields across important theatres and festivals: Teatro San Carlo in Naples for Gluck's Orfeo ed Euridice (with Rai DVD) and Zenobia in Palmira by Paisiello (with Bongiovanni live CD); Teatro la Fenice in Venice with Il Signor Bruschino; Teatro Regio in Turin with Don Checco by De Giosa; Teatro Lirico in Cagliari with La pietra del paragone and Don Pasquale; Teatro Filarmonico in Verona with La sonnambula, Il viaggio a Reims, Madama Butterfly, Rigoletto, Così fan tutte, Le nozze di Figaro, La Gioconda; Opera Lombardia with La scala di seta and La Gioconda; La traviata at the Seul Arts Center.

For the symphonic seasons, he has collaborated with the Teatro Bellini in Catania, the Orchestra Verdi in Milan, the Festival Il Settembre dell'Accademia in Verona, the Luglio Musicale Trapanese, the Orchestra Filarmonica del Teatro Comunale in Bologna and others.

From 2014 to 2018 he was Musical Director of the Orchestra Regionale del Veneto Filarmonia Veneta and since 2019 he has been Resident Conductor at the Fondazione Arena di Verona.

Recent performances and future engagements include Il segreto di Susanna at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari and a new production of Il campiello di Wolf-Ferrari and Salieri's Falstaff at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona and at the Teatro La Fenice in Venice. Soon he will make his appearances in Teatro Regio di Torino with Matrimonio segreto di Cimarosa, in Verona with Un ballo in maschera, in Cagliari with Aida and in other venues.
