Cello

Biography

He started learning to play the cello at the Trakia University Conservatory. Then he continued at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts in the class of Resit Erzin. Even during his studies, he was invited to the Pergine Festival in Italy, where he participated in many chamber concerts, and also performed with the PSA festival orchestra as an accompanist of the cello group.

After graduation, he worked in various Turkish symphony ensembles - the orchestra of the Istanbul Opera and Ballet Theatre, Istanbul State Symphony Orchestra, Sisli Symphony Orchestra, Cemal Resit Rey Istanbul Symphony Orchestra, Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra. He has been the principal cello of Pergine Spettacolo Aperto Youth Orchestra, Bakirkoy Chamber Orchestra and the Istanbul Symphonyetta, established by famous Turkish conductor Gurer Aykal.

Currently he is the principal cello of the Orchestra Sion, collaborates with the Borusan Istanbul Philharmonic Orchestra and teaches at the Maltepe University State Conservatory.
