Biography
He is considered one of the most interesting conductors of his generation among the international panorama.
Awaited are his debuts with Glynderbourne Festival (2017, Don Pasquale), with Deutsche Oper Berlin (2018, Il Trovatore), with Opera de Monaco (2017, Cenerentola).
After completing his piano, composition and conducting studies in Italy and abroad he began his conductoring career in Italy and in Germany (Festival della Valle d'Itria, Aslico, Lubeck Theatre), being then invited by the most important Theatres worldwide, such as the Semperoper in Dresden (Cenerentola), Teatro La Fenice di Venezia (Madama Butterfly) Opernhaus in Zürich (Elisir d'amore), Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow (Don Carlo), Opéra de Paris (Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Cenerentola, Capuleti e Montecchi) Teatro de La Maestranza in Sevilla (Cenerentola) Palau de les Arts Reina Sofia in Valencia (Stabat Mater), and in some of the most important Festivals (Rossini Opera Festival, Arena di Verona), being successful with public and critics.
He is really appreciated in the Belcanto repertoire, and he distinguishes for his attention to the concertation and also for his wise handing of the ensemble.
He has a constant symphonic experience, being regularly invited to symphonic seasons of many prestigious orchestras, such as ROSS in Sevilla, Filarmonica Fenice in Venice, Essener Philarmoniker, Orchestra RAI in Turin, Haydn Orchester in Trento and Bozen, etc.
In March 2016 he will debut with the Philarmonic Orchestra of St. Petersburg.
Among his future engagements: Il Barbiere di Siviglia (Opera Bastille Paris), Rossini Opera Festival in 2018, a new production of Un Ballo in Maschera in 2018 at Bolshoi Theatre, three new productions with Aalto Theater in Essen (Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Norma and Il Trovatore), Comte Ory at Seattle Opera (new production) and Capuleti e Montecchi at Opera di Oviedo (new production).
