Elena Rudzey is the Head of the Choral class and a Professor in the Choral Conducting Department at the Novosibirsk M.I. Glinka State Conservatory.  She has won the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Award, and she is also the Head of the Association of Conductors and Choirmasters of Novosibirsk and the Novosibirsk Region.

The founder of many currently performing ensembles, she is also the Artistic director and the Conductor of the Novosibirsk Regional Academic Youth and Student Choir, the Massed Children’s Choir and the Novosibirsk Region Youth Choir.  She is the Artistic director of the Siberian Seasons International Festival of Contemporary Music and the driving force behind many All-Russian and world premieres of choral music. Elena Rudzey regularly holds masterclasses on conducting, rehearsal techniques and choir management at music institutions in Siberia. She is the chairman and a member of the jury at many choral competitions.
