Evelina Smolina was born in Riga, Latvia. She entered music school at the age of 5, studying violin. In the 8th grade she transfered to the Professional Music Choir School of Riga. In 2018 Evelina graduated from Music College NMV RDKS's Academic Vocal department, where she studied with Irma Pavere. Presently, she studies at the Manhattan School of Music (New-York) under Shirley Close. In January 2019 Evelina had her debut performance with symphony orchestra at Moscow's Crocus City Hall. In February 2019, she had her debut performance at Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall) in the Crescendo International Competition's Winner's Recital. And in St Petersburg, Russia, she performed in the Open Seasons Fest 2019 under the baton of maestro Fabio Mastrangelo
