Biography
Won the 1st prize, Audience’s favorite and Orchestra’s favorite at the 56th International Competition for Young Conductors of Besançon in 2019. Won the 1st prize and the special award “Hideo Saito Award” at the 18th Tokyo International Music Competition for Conducting in 2018. Semi-finalist at the 1st Nice Opera Conducting Competition in 2018.
Was awarded the Acanthus Musical prize and the "Douseikai" prize from Tokyo University of Arts.Graduatied from Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler Berlin in Dec 2019 with Masters Degree in conducting. Graduated from Tokyo University of Arts in March 2014, major in Orchestral Conducting (master). Graduated at the top of conducting class from Tokyo University of Arts in 2011 (bachelor). Studied under following professors: Christian Ehwald, Hans-Dieter Baum, Manuel Nawri, Ken Takaseki and Tadaaki Otaka. Attended Internationale Sommerakademie Mozarteum in 2012 and recevied diploma from Prof. Peter Gülke.
Participated in Järvi International Academy for Conducting in 2013 and was taught by Neeme Järvi, Paavo Järvi, Leonid Grin and Gennady Rozhdestvensky. Was chosen as a scholar of Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy Foundation in 2015 and studied under Prof. Kurt Masur. Attended the masterclass with Daniele Gatti and Concertgebouw Orchestra, selected as one of twenty auditors in 2017. Participated in Muti Academy as one of four conductors in 2019. Took master classes and workshops from the following professors: Sian Edwards, Douglas Bostock, Zsolt Nagy, Titus Engel, Michiyoshi Inoue, Marc Andreae and Tatsuya Shimono.
Conducted professional orchestras such as Konzerthaus Orchestra Berlin, George Enescu Philharmonic Orchestra, Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Magdeburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Orchestra Philharmonique de Nice, Brandenburgishes Staatsorchester Frankfurt, Brandenburger Sinfoniker, Leipziger Symphonieorchester, Tokyo Geidai Philharmonia, Orchestra Ensemble Kanazawa, Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Orchestra of the St. Petersburg State Academic Cappella and more.
Conducted the new opera “Neue Szenen” at Deutsche Oper Berlin in 2017. Worked with Zafraan Ensemble in IMPULS Festival and was immediately invited to the next festival. Was invited to Orchestra Emsenble Kanazawa as an assistant conductor from 2011 to 2012. Conducted as playing the piano “Don Giovanni” and “Le Nozze di Figaro” in La Folle Journée Festival. Conducted many other operas such as “L'elisir d'amore”, "Cosi fan tutte", "La Traviata", “Don Pasquale” and worked on many other operas as an assistant conductor and as a prompter.
