Arthur Adrshin
Winner of International Competitions
Biography
Artur Adrshin is one of the brightest representatives of the young generation of accordion players, winner of international competitions, teacher, 2019 graduate of the St. Petersburg State Conservatory, class of Professor A.I. Dmitriev. Since 2023, assistant-trainee at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music, class of Professor F.R. Lips.
Artur first picked up a button accordion at the age of 8 and since then, over the course of 21 years, there have been many victories at international competitions. The most significant ones should be noted:
1st place - 42 "PIF Castelfidardo", category Premio - Italy, Castelfidardo, 2017;
1st place - 70th International Competition "Trophy Mondiale", category Composition - Online, 2020;
2nd place - 67th International Competition " Trophy Mondiale ", Senior Classic category - France, Rodez, 2017.
In addition to his solo career, the musician is a member of the accordion trio “Symmetry” (first name “Charm”). The ensemble emerged in 2015 under the leadership of Professor A.I. Dmitriev. In the period from 2017 to 2021, the team took 1st place in all prestigious international competitions among accordion players.
Artur actively takes part in various festivals, concert events, projects, both solo and in an ensemble: Germany (Cologne, Hamburg, Dusseldorf), Portugal (Alcobaza, Portimao), Italy (Castelfidardo), Serbia (Kragujevac, Belgrade, Valjevo) , Estonia, Latvia, as well as the Small Philharmonic Hall. D.D. Shostakovich, White Hall of the St. Petersburg State Polytechnic University, Concert Hall named after Prokofiev, Mussorgsky at the Mariinsky Theater, Concert Hall of the Russian Academy of Music. In addition, Artur Adrshin composes music for accordion and small ensembles for children and adults. In 2020, the composition “Rondo-Toccata” for solo accordion was awarded 1st prize at the “Trophy Mondiale”.
The musician also gives master classes, participates as a speaker at methodological meetings of the accordion section in St. Petersburg, worked on the jury at the international competition “Peace Trophy” (2021) and the “International Competition in Portimao” (Portugal, 2018). In September 2023, he took part in the 3rd international artistic and scientific conference "Culture - the connection between Serbia and the world", where he presented to the public online arrangements of children's music for accordion, as well as his compositions.
Since 2022, Artur Adrshin has been an accordion teacher at the E.A. Mravinsky Children's Art School in St. Petersburg. Some of his students are laureates of international competitions.
