Biography

In 2001, he graduated from the Vaganova Ballet Academy (class of Yury Tsvetkov) and the same year joined the Mikhailovsky Ballet Company. His repertoire at the Mikhailovsky Theatre included roles in Swan Lake (Rothbart, solo roles in mazurka, Hungarian and Spanish dances; rev. by Nikolay Boyarchikov), Giselle (Albrecht; rev. by Nikita Dolgushin), The Nutcracker (Mr Stahlbaum, Mr Drosselmeyer, Mouse King; chor. by Nikolay Boyarchikov); La Sylphide (James), Le Corsaire (Conrad, rev. by Pyotr Gusev; Birbanto, rev. by Farukh Ruzimatov), Esmeralda (Phoebus), Spartacus (Centurions; chor. by George Kovtun), La Bayadère (Slave; rev. by Nikolay Boyarchikov), Romeo and Juliet (Paris; chor. by Oleg Vinogradov). Now his repertoire includes solo roles in the new productions of the ballets Swan Lake, La Bayadère, Don Quixote, as well as The Sleeping Beauty, Laurencia, The Flames of Paris, Cipollino, and one-act ballets by Ivan Vasiliev.
