Immediately after its establishment, the music band composed of three ambitious and dedicated musicians performed with great success on the radio and in the prestigious concert halls of Ankara. From then on, success accompanied the team performing at various festivals.

From the very beginning, the musicians decided that their Bosphorus Trio»would work under the motto "national composers go first", and the band members would discover forgotten and unknown works by Turkish authors for themselves and the public. 

However, along with the heritage of Turkish composers, the Bosphorus Trio is trying to offer listeners fresh interpretation of well-known pieces by Haydn, Beethoven, Brahms, Mendelssohn, Dvorak, Debussy and other composers, both classical and romantic, as well as modern authors from different countries.

The authoritative "International Chigiana Academy" highly appreciated the band’s professionalism, and awarded them with a special scholarship. And after the brilliant performance of the musicians at the Academy’s master class under the guidance of Professor Günter Pichler (one of the members of the famous Alban Berg Quartet), all three were granted the "Honorary Diplomas" - a very rare award for musicians who perform in the Academy’s master classes for the first time.
