Biography
Evgeny Sviridov was born in St. Petersburg. He graduated from the St-Petersburg State Conservatory.
He is a winner of International competitions. Evgeny has participated in a various musical festivals: "Schleswig-Holstein" festival in Lubeck, Chamber Music festival in Graz, "Earlymusic" festival in St-Petersburg, Bach-Festival in Leipzig , IV Biennale Alter Musik “Zeitfenster” in Berlin and others.
Evgeny has performed with well-known orchestras, such as Mariinsky Theater Orchestra, St-Petersburg State Philharmonic, Moscow Symphony Orchestra "New Russia" (Yury Bashmet, Principal Conductor).
He regularly plays concerts as a soloist and with chamber ensembles in Russia, Europe, USA and South America.
Evgeny also participated in master-classes with Grigori Zhislin, Zakhar Bron, Maria Leonhardt, Andrey Reshetin, Helmut Zehetmair, Hatto Beyerle, Pamela Frank, Pierre Amoyal, Krzysztof Wegrzyn, Boris Kushnir, Boris Garlitsky, Christian Tetzlaff, Rainer Kussmaul, Andrew Lawrence-King.
Evgeny Sviridov has recorded his debut CD with sonatas by J.S.Bach and H.I.F.Biber
